Feel inspired from a guest speaker that came into our lecture for creative writing yesteday. Actually, I am lying, there were two guest speakers, but I found the second one a bit boring. He had a very dull, quiet, montone voice which made me just zone out completey.
But Jake, he certainly got my attention. His voice was loud and projected, but not in an annoying way. He wasn't over confident eiether because he blushed when he talked, and pulled his sleeves up and down. Also, I kind of fancied him too.
So yeah I felt inspired. He mainly talked about getting work "out there." My dream is too be a published writer. Don't really want to put too much pressure on making my blog fanstastic. But I feel good that it is getting my working "out there." Jake also mentioned about having your own website, which made me think about having my website filled with short stories. I will have to write a bit more first, only written a couple so far! Then I thought of having a group on facebook or something. Just thinking at the moment.
Sometimes, I do get over whelmed with the future and such like...Emailed one of my creative writing tutors about getting work exprience at a literature festival. His reply was postive, so that will good. Think things are coming together, slowly but surely.
