Acceptable in the the 80s...

Wish I was born in the 80s with big hair, Madonna, the crazy fashion, punk rock...Amayzing! However, I am a 90s kid...

Well last Saturday, got transforted back in time to the 1980s, no I didn't meet Doctor Who, unfortunately, instead I went to an 80s party!

It was Ewan's friend, Harry, 21st. Also, the main reason why I went to Ewan, instead of Ewan coming to me. But, it was so good to be home.

By the way, Ewan works every other saturday hence why we only see each other every two weeks. I have Mondays off from uni so i usually get home in the afternoon, then go home on Monday.

Anyway, Harry had oraganised a bus for the party because it was cheaper than taxi's. Harry was dressed up as Tom Cruise from Top Gun, was funny because Harry is quite chubby and ginger, doesn't look like the film star that is Tom Cruise lol.

My outfit was cool, I went for the big Madonna hair compelte with a leopard print bow , black leggings, blue suede boots, a white baywatch top and a black belt around my hips. Ewan had orange gel in his blonde hair, an AC/DC top on, with safety pins all over...he looked exactally like Johnny Rotton haha.
Adele and Olly were also coming. Olly was dressed up as Rambo. Adele went for an Madonna inspired look; lots of denim and lace.

Being on a rented bus was just like going on a school trip. Our destination was a pub in the middle of Yorkshire. Obviously, the DJ played 80s music. Plus, there was kareoke, sang abit of Miley Cryus with Adele.

Overall, was a good night, if not a bit long...There were two highlights that made the night memorable:
  1. Harry, the birthday boy, was sick all over himself. Someone got a picture of him sat outside with sick all over himself. Not good. But funny. He had to be taken home early. We were at a birthday party and the birthday host wasn't even there! lol
  2. Sean, Ewan's friend, who was dressed up as superman, for some reason through a pint glass over someones car, smashing the bonnet. He then ran away and hid in a ditch somewhere. Jack, another friend, was going home early anyway, his dad was picking him and his girlfriend up, plus Harry. Also went for a ride too look for Sean.

Felt sorry for Jack's dad, especially as Harry was sick in his car.

yeah, I love the 60s too, very different from 80s fashion. I think I like how Madonna looked in the 80s the best! xxx
