How was everyone's Christmas?
Overall, mine was good, went a bit quick though.
But I feel good to be back at Uni in Somerset. Sometimes I just need to escape family and stuff. Not Ewan though.
I am not a great family person. At Christmas it can all get in your face. Recently, I have also been comparing alot myself to Adele and thinking that I didn't fit in with Ewan's family and wasn't good enough.
It sounds silly, but I guess that is because it is.
Adele isn't better than me, nor am I better than Adele. But she kept making cakes and photo albums of her and Olly 'in love'. This made me wonder should I be doing all this? Then, I kept trying tooo hard and was on edge all the time, so I kept having these werid emotional breakdowns, really making myself unhappy.
Before I was due to come back to uni, I realised it doesn't matter what anyone thinks of me. I am fine as I am. The most important thing is what Ewan thinks of me, what my thinks of family and most importantly what I think of myself.
So, I am going to stop comparing myself with others and worrying about other people think of me. Personally, I don't think Ewan's parents are overly amazing, and I doubt they hate me.
I am going to concerntrate on what makes me happy and the people in my life who make me happy. So hopefully, when I go back home next week, my head will be in the right place.

More Lily Allen and Eastenders

Thankfully, I nor any of my close family or friends have experienced the heartache of loosing a baby.
It is positive that a celebrity like Lily Allen is making awareness of such a harrowing subject. Like Jade Goody or Kylie Minogue, both were diagnosed with cancer. This provoked millions of women to get checked out by their doctors, consequently saving many lives.
Lily Allen in a way can comfort families, help them deal with the death of their baby, they know that they are not alone.
Over Christmas Eastenders dealt with this emotional subject, regarding a cot death. The soap opera is famous for its dramatic storyline. Yet, instead of being a comfort, the storyline generated more distressed feelings. As if a cot death wasn't heartbreaking enough, the mother involved in the storyline, Ronnie Branning, swaps her baby James, for Kat Moon's healthy baby, Tommy. For some reason Eastenders writers had to make Ronnie, the bereaved mother mad and unhinged.Watching some of the scenes made me feel really sick in my stomach. There was a scene where Jack, Ronnie's husband, shows Kat's husband, Alfie, a picture of 'James', when really it was Tommy. It is wrong.
And I am not alone. Apparently, 6,000 people have complained about the storyline. The BBC defended the storyline, stating they worked with experts and acted correctly by placing telephone helplines at the end of the show. Also, Samantha Womack has handed in her notice and will be leaving shortly and the storyline will be concluded earlier than planned.
Despite everything, I am still watching it. I love it Even if it can be morally wrong at times...

Zac's new look

Like a 12 year old girl, I fancy the pants off Zac Efron. I admit I have his posters on his wall.
But what do you all think of him now he has piled on a few pounds for a new role?
Err, I am not too sure.
But the fact he is method acting does this mean he is becoming a real actor instead of the teen pin up we all know (and love)?
